A few things I forgot to mention.
1. The prize for most people on a motorbike is 5 ! Couldn't tell you the most for a car as too many to count, sometimes people weren't even in the car just clinging to the outside.
2. It is amazing what you can do with a plastic bottle -
A- use it to decorate your restaurant, cut the bottoms off and turn them into a flower
B- use one to stop the fuel coming out of your petrol tank, was wedged into the hole, although small bits were dripping out
C- attach one to a horn thing on your rickshaw so it blows, usually making a funny noise.
D- as a flotation device, children had them strapped to their bodies in the Ganges to help them float!
3. Vultures in Nepal were in danger of becoming extinct as they were scavenging on cows which had been given an anti inflammatory drug and getting poisoned. So vulture restaurants were set up where the bodies of dead animals are put in a place so the vultures can come and eat from them safely, this has seen their numbers rise greatly. We were asked if we wanted to stop at one of these places, which we did but as soon as we got out of the minibus the stench of dead bodies in the heat was overpowering. We hadn't thought about that!
4 A spider was running across my bed the other day but every so often it jumped, have never seen a spider jump before, was away to video it when it disappeared!
