We survived !

Well as you can see we survived, Bear Grylls has nothing on us!
We barricaded thedoor
We hunkered down with our food supplies.

We made the bed and settled down for the night.

I lay there listening to the traffic, honking and rumbling past and to the fan whirring around with its rhythmic clunk and thought I can do this,  I have slept on buses, trains and even in a worse room in Delhi, and it is only for one night.

And you know what we did, we both had a very unsettled night but we did get some sleep.
We even went down to breakfast and had a decent cup of tea, made with a tetley tea bag, I could have wept with joy. They even made it the way I asked them to, with water and not milk.

In the room we found a menu, which shows the prices, as you can see the veg rice is cheaper than other options, and the coke and water are the same price as tea and coffee.

Now we are waiting for a car to pick us up and take us away from all this. Bangkok here we come, hopefully!
